Kyle & Kaitlyn’s
Las Vegas Wedding
On June 20, 2026, I had the incredible honor of photographing Kyle and Kaitlyn’s wedding in Las Vegas, Nevada. This wedding was especially meaningful to me—not only because it was a beautiful destination wedding in a place I’ve always dreamed of photographing, but because Kaitlyn is my cousin and my built-in best friend since day one.
Getting to combine two things I love—photography and traveling—with one of the most important days of someone I love made this wedding one I’ll never forget.
Kaitlyn and I have grown up together, shared countless memories, and have been there for each other through so many different seasons of life. So when she asked me to capture her wedding day, it felt like so much more than simply showing up with my camera. I was getting the opportunity to document a chapter of her life that I knew would become one of the memories we’d talk about for years to come. Watching my cousin and best friend marry Kyle was such a special experience. And getting to stand behind my camera and preserve those moments for them made the day even more meaningful.
I’ve always dreamed of photographing a Las Vegas-style wedding, and this day was everything I had imagined. The bright lights, the energy of the city, the unique details, and the excitement that comes with getting married in Las Vegas created such a fun atmosphere to photograph. There was something about the entire day that felt bold, exciting, and completely them. Being able to bring my own vision to life while capturing their story in a place I’ve always wanted to photograph was such a surreal experience.
But some of my favorite images weren’t the big, dramatic moments. They were the little ones in between—the laughs, the glances, the excitement, and the moments that happened naturally throughout the day. Those are the moments that make a wedding gallery feel like your wedding story.
One of the things I love most about wedding photography is that I’m not simply photographing a day. I’m preserving memories that couples will look back on for years to come. For Kyle and Kaitlyn, I had the unique opportunity to capture a day that was already incredibly meaningful to me personally. I knew Kaitlyn before she was a bride, before she was planning a wedding, and before this chapter of her life even began. Getting to photograph her as she stepped into this new chapter with Kyle was something I’ll always be grateful for.
Being able to travel somewhere I’ve always wanted to photograph and experience it through the eyes of a couple celebrating such a huge moment in their lives reminded me exactly why I love this job. Photography has given me the opportunity to travel, meet incredible people, and tell stories through my lens. This wedding was the perfect combination of all three.
Kyle and Kaitlyn, your Las Vegas wedding will always hold a special place in my heart.
Kaitlyn, getting to grow up alongside you and then have the opportunity to photograph your wedding day feels like such a full-circle moment. I’m so grateful I got to be there to capture the laughter, the happy tears, the excitement, and all of the little moments in between.
Your wedding wasn’t just a dream destination wedding for me—it was a reminder of how lucky I am to do something I love for the people I love.
Kyle & Kaitlyn, thank you for letting me tell a small part of your story through my lens. 🤍
